Junior welterweight boxer Bryce Mills is set to headline a boxing card at The Randolph Hotel on Electronics Parkway in Liverpool on October 30th.

Mills, a Liverpool, NY native, will headline a card for the first time in his career.

His opponent is James Bernadin.

“It means everything to me,” Mills said in an interview with CNY Central. “Ever since I was a kid, this was something I had dreamt about, being a professional and headlining pro cards.”

The 24-year-old currently holds a record of 19-1 with seven knockouts, and currently holds a 13-fight win streak.

Mills’ most recent victory was a first-round KO on June 6th against Florida native Aaron Aponte at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in nearby Verona, NY.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of my family, a lot of my friends and a lot of my loved ones come to my fights.” Mills said. “I think that’s why the promotion thought it would be a good idea to place me as the main event.”

Now as the main event, Mills will aim to continue his success in the ring, and inspire the local crowd.

“It means a lot to meto know that I can be a role model to the little kids that are watching me, to my family, to my friends.” Mills said. “To show people that Central New York has what it takes to make it and be the people you want to be and perform at a high level.”

Doors open at 4:30, the undercard starts at 5:30, and the main card begins at 7:30.

Tickets start at $60 to $100 and can be purchased here.

The event was previously scheduled to be at Del Lago Casino.
