Each year, the NHS asks patients for their experiences at their local doctors in a survey published earlier this month.

The questionnaire asked patients about their experiences and how satisfied they were with the care received at their GP.

And the results have revealed the practice with the greatest level of satisfaction – and where patients are least pleased with their care.

It found that overall, the region had seen a slight improvement in satisfaction levels, with 78pc of patients having a good overall experience compared with 77pc last year.

As was the case in 2024, the practice with the highest rating was Hingham Surgery.

Of the 136 completed surveys, 97pc of participants rated their experience as either good (89pc) or fairly good.

The surgery which received the lowest rating was East Harling and Kenninghall Medical Practice, where just 52pc of patients rated the service as good.

The practice also saw 11pc of participants rate its services as very poor.

However, the East Norwich Medical Partnership’s branch in Thorpe St Andrew received the most negative feedback – with a quarter of its patients (25.2pc) saying their experience was either poor or very poor.

Ed Garratt, chief executive of the Norfolk and Waveney integrated care board, said: “It is well known that the NHS is under a lot of pressure right now, yet this patient feedback shows that those services remain resilient, and staff continue to work hard to do all they can for patients.

“We do know that people’s experiences differ across the patch which is why our focus continues to be on enhancing local services and implementing further change for the better.”
