EastEnders spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (29 October), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders’ Zoe Slater has appeared to rule out a popular theory amongst fans about the father of her twins. After Zoe confirmed that she had lied to Sharon Watts about Dennis Rickman being the dad, the mystery continues. But is she telling the truth this time, or is there another twist in the tale?
Zoe’s lies have damaged her relationship with her mum even further, and this week Kat gave her an ultimatum – make amends for her actions or move out of the pub.

But their feud was put to the side when Zoe discovered that a photo of her and Kat had been smashed, smeared with fake blood and put on her bed as a threat.
Kat wasn’t convinced though, and her row with Zoe continued as Halloween arrived in today’s episode, as she accused her daughter of breaking the photo herself.

Zoe remained adamant that someone was out to get her and after another clash with Vicki in the café, she accused her of breaking into the pub and smashing the picture.
Anthony witnessed this confrontation and went after Zoe, expressing his concern for her. He suggested that Zoe could come and stay with him and his family while she felt scared at The Vic.
However, when Anthony decided to ask Zoe if he is the father of her adopted son, Zoe quickly told him that he wasn’t – as she was on the pill back when they were an item, and the dates were years apart.

Anthony’s question frustrated Zoe, and she refused his offer of a place to stay. Kat later confirmed that Zoe could live at the pub as long as she wanted, but Jean was furious that she had given her another chance.
Meanwhile, Alfie’s party plans were ruined by a burst pipe in the barrel store. As he cleared up the mess, he came across a video tape labelled ‘Slaters’ Halloween 1988.
Alfie was keen to play the old footage, but when Kat spotted the tape at the Halloween party, she thought seeing her mum and dad would freak Zoe out.
But later, the tape began mysteriously playing in the pub later – and both Kat and Zoe were horrified when uncle Harry unexpectedly appeared on the screen.

Furious Zoe accused both Vicki and Jean of playing the footage, and when no one owned up she demanded everyone leave the pub.
With Zoe more convinced than ever that someone is out to get her, Anthony told Kat that Zoe’s paranoia and heightened behaviour were signs that she was having a psychotic break.
Is Anthony right, or is Zoe really being targeted?
