A new high-tech entertainment destination has arrived in Bethesda. Immersa, a cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) experience center, has soft opened at Westfield Montgomery Mall ahead of its grand opening on Friday, October 31.
Immersa offers guests a variety of 360° interactive adventures that blend fun, technology, and education. Experiences include 360° Double Flight VR, 360° Moto VR, Car Simulator VR, Corps Pro VR, and the UFO Experience, each designed to transport players into dynamic virtual worlds.
Most adventures are height-based and generally suited for ages six and up, though an employee shared that even children as young as two have safely enjoyed the UFO experience with adult supervision. Sessions range from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the activity, and cost between $11.99 and $15.99 per person, with group pricing available for multiple participants.
According to Immersa’s website, the experience is about more than entertainment, it’s about exploration and learning: “Our passionate team of educators, technologists, and experience designers work together to create unforgettable learning adventures. We combine expertise in education, virtual reality, and interactive entertainment to deliver experiences that are both fun and meaningful. We believe that the best learning happens when you’re having fun. Our goal is to make every visit to Immersa an adventure in discovery.”
