Kyle Ure is getting a true footballing education out on loan this season.
Ure joined Scottish Championship side Ayr United, who are managed by Celtic legend Scott Brown.
As well as Ure, the former Hoops midfielder also has Jude Bonnar on loan, with Brown singling out the Celtic duo for their early impact.
In Ure’s case, there are big hopes that he can one day be the long-term replacement for Callum McGregor and in order to help that happen, he has been doing some extra work with the Ayr boss.

For any boyhood Celtic fan, the chance to work with Brown is one you would find very hard to turn down, and for the 19-year-old, it was no different.
Speaking to Ayr’s YouTube channel, he said: “I wanted to make an impact here and it couldn’t have gone much better.
“The gaffer was a big part in me coming here, with his affiliation with Celtic, the contact he still has with the club and the position he played.
“He does drills with me after training and gives me tips and advice I’m sure will help me as he knows the position so well.”
While he may not be playing a carbon copy style of what Celtic are implementing, Ure believes that regular football will stand him in good stead to compete for a first-team spot with the Hoops in the future.
Ure added: “Like it’s different, but any time you’re going to a team on loan, it’s going to be different. Nobody’s going to play the same way as Celtic. Every team’s different.
So, I know that and it’s a different experience for me. It’s something that I need to learn and it’s been a good learning experience and one I’ve adapted well to.”
