Disney star Dove Cameron is engaged to Måneskin frontman Damiano David, it has been reported.
The 29-year-old actress was recently seen showing off a large diamond ring on her left hand while walking arm-in-arm with the 26-year-old musician in Sydney, Australia. It comes after Damiano had performed shirtless in the city the previous week.
The couple, who have been dating for nearly two years, officially confirmed their relationship in February 2024. And now it’s been claimed the pair’s romance has got serious, with the pair now reportedly engaged.

Earlier this month, Descendants actress Dove shared intimate photos and videos from their relationship on social media. She captioned the post for her 47 million followers: “the 2 best years of my life. i am brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it. i love you in a way no words could ever express, but i will never stop trying. buon anniversario amore mio.”
The couple met at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2022 and made their relationship red-carpet official at the 2024 pre-Grammy Gala.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan in June 2024, Cameron reflected on how their romance developed. “A couple months later, their team had reached out to me about coming to their album release and I couldn’t make it work with the dates, but I was like, ‘Oh, that’s so sweet that they thought about me. We only met once.'”
She added, “At one point, the band and I had been thinking about doing a collaboration. They had recorded something, so I went in and I recorded over that track. They’d asked me to open for them on their tour and I couldn’t make it happen.”
Cameron described their relationship, “There were just these passing-ships-in-the-night things happening. So when we met again at the 2023 VMAs, we had a reason to talk to each other.”
“He’s a Capricorn, so he was very much like, ‘Okay, these are my intentions.’ It was super honourable. He’s like a 1950s gentleman, angel, teddy bear. He’s the best person I’ve met in my life.”
Cameron first rose to fame with her dual roles in Disney Channel’s Liv and Maddie before starring in the Descendants film series. As well as her acting career, she lent her vocals to the soundtrack albums for the show and movie, and in 2023 released her debut EP Alchemical: Volume 1, led by the single “Boyfriend,” which hit the US Hot 100 top 20 and went double platinum.
Damiano is the lead singer of Italian rock band Måneskin, who won Eurovision with Zitti e Buoni and are known for their daring performances and racy antics on stage.
