London Broncos have announced their latest signing, and it comes in the shape of a former Leeds Rhinos academy graduate.

Following on from their 10th placed finish in the Championship this year, it was clear to see that the club needed an overhaul of the playing squad in order for them to become more competitive and earn more of a right to push for Super League status.

The club are heading a long way towards that, with NRL recruits Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Siliva Havili and Dean Hawkins joining the club.

However, it is not just short-term stars that Darren Lockyer, Gary Hetherington and Mike Eccles are bringing in. They are also building for the future, and have now announced another young signing that they will hope can be a long-term member of the playing group.

Bobby Hartley was released from the Leeds Rhinos academy at the end of last season, and after three appearances with Whitehaven in 2024, found himself linking up with the Keighley Cougars. The prop/back-rower featured five times for the West Yorkshire outfit in League One, and will now make the step up to the newly formed second division with the Broncos
