Plans for a fast-food restaurant to remain open 24 hours a day at an entertainment complex have been lodged.
Burger King opened at Ashford’s Eureka Park in 1999 and has been operating as both a drive-thru and dine-in restaurant ever since.
The Burger King drive-thru on Eureka Park, Ashford, is currently open 13 hours a day
Customers can enjoy meals inside from 10am until 10pm seven days a week, with the drive-thru trading from 10am until 11pm.
But plans have now been submitted to change the opening hours of the drive-thru to make it 24 hours.
The application also proposes the opening hours of the dine-in restaurant to be extended between 11pm and 5am.
Those wishing to submit comments on the application have until November 18 to do so.
If approved, it would join rivals McDonald’s as being open 24 hours at Eureka Park, which is also home to food chains Frankie & Benny’s, KFC, Nando’s, Pizza Hut and Subway.

Burger King also has a second restaurant in Ashford at County Square shopping centre.
Seating 140 people, it opened its doors in October 2011.
