Bosses behind Death in Paradise have taken to social media to share some brilliant news about the BBC drama, leaving fans absolutely delighted.

The show’s official Instagram account revealed it had secured a prestigious award nomination. Alongside a photograph of the cast, the announcement stated, “Very pleased to announce that Death in Paradise has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the TV Choice Awards 2026!

“@returntoparadiseofficial has also been nominated for Best New Drama!”

“Make sure to vote by visiting www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/vote. Voting will close at midnight on Sunday, 16th November!”

Viewers were absolutely chuffed by the announcement and flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages, reports the Express.

Death in Paradise has completed filming for the year, with the upcoming series anticipated to broadcast in early 2025.

On her Stories, the actress uploaded a photograph of her character alongside Detective Mervin Wilson, portrayed by EastEnders star Don Gilet.

She captioned the image, “Last day in the police station.”
