The Irish Thalidomide Association has called for a state apology.

It’s told the Taoiseach and Tanaiste saying sorry to Thalidomide survivors and their mothers and fathers is long overdue.

Micheál Martin and Simon Harris met the group yesterday, promising to provide discretionary medical cards to unacknowledged survivors.
