A Premier Sports Cup Final clash means Rangers are set for some Monday night football against Hibs.

Danny Rohl’s side failed to book a Final date with St Mirren as they eventually went down 3-1 after extra-time against bitter rivals Celtic in their semi-final clash.

That means the Hoops can retain their trophy with a win over Stephen Robinson’s buddies at the National Stadium on Sunday December 14.

However, even though they were knocked out, Gers have still seen their planned league game that weekend re-arranged.

They were due to take on the Hibees at Ibrox on the same Sunday.

However, with the League Cup Final being played nearby and four sets of fans descending on Glasgow, the decision has been taken to move the Premiership clash back a day.

David Gray’s side will now take on Rangers under the lights at Ibrox on Monday December 15 with a 19.45 kick-off.
