Manchester United have been linked with a move to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.
The Red Devils are still trying to complete the signing of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. The player is keen to join, but an agreement with his club has not been reached yet.
Until that’s done, Manchester United are not pushing ahead with other deals, even though they could do with a new striker this summer.
Vlahovic is available, and Fabrizio Romano has an update.
Dusan Vlahovic has been offered to Manchester United
Dusan Vlahovic was one of the hottest strikers in Italy a few years ago.
The Serbian was incredible when he was at Fiorentina, and his performances there convinced Juventus to spend £66.6 million to sign him.
Many people expected Vlahovic to become a star at Juve, but the striker’s time in Turin has simply not gone to plan.
As TBR Football revealed over two months ago, Vlahovic is up for sale now, having entered the final year of his contract. Romano has revealed that he has been offered to Manchester United.
But, the Red Devils are not advancing on any move to sign him, as things stand.
Romano said in a video on his YouTube channel: “What I can tell you is, just to confirm, Vlahovic is expected to leave Juventus this summer. Vlahovic is not a key player for Juventus anymore. One year left on his contract, so Juventus are more than ready to let Vlahovic go.
“The player was offered to Manchester United. That’s why we had some stories and rumours. Vlahovic has been offered to Man United because he has to leave Juventus. It’s time for him to go and leave Juventus.
“But, at the moment, Manchester United are focused on Mbeumo and are not advancing on this deal for Dusan Vlahovic. They are aware of this possibility, he has been offered, but at this moment, to say that there is a negotiation for Vlahovic to Manchester United is something that I’m not aware of.”

Kylian Mbappe once predicted that Vlahovic would become a star, but that hasn’t quite happened in recent years.
The Serb, on his day, is a phenomenal striker, but his performances at Juventus since he joined them haven’t been overly impressive.
To add to that, injuries have really troubled Vlahovic, who has missed over 200 days of football over the last three-and-a-half years.
Manchester United need someone reliable to come in and hit the ground running. We just don’t think Vlahovic is that player.
