Netflix‘s upcoming murder mystery series Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials will be released on Thursday, 15 January 2026.

The streaming giant followed up the announcement with a teaser trailer of the three-part series as well as a first look pics of the lead cast – Mia McKenna-Bruce, Helena Bonham Carter, Martin Freeman, Corey Mylchreest, Ed Bluemel and Nabhaan Rizwan – in their new roles.

The series sees How To Have Sex’s McKenna-Bruce step into the role of Lady Eileen ‘Bundle Brent, whose life is about to be altered forever by an unexpected murder.

The synopsis reads: “England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery. A witty, epic and fast-paced drama from the Queen Of Crime, Agatha Christie, is brought to life in a thrilling new version for Netflix.”

Alongside McKenna-Bruce stars Queen Charlotte’s Mylchreest as Gerry Wade, Freeman as Battle, Bonham Carter as Lady Caterham, Rizwan as Ronnie Devereux and Bluemel as Jimmy Thesiger.

The new photos allude to the mysterious events unfolding and the intense dedication of Bundle’s sleuthing.

Orchid Pictures’ Suzanne Mackie, one of the production teams behind the adaptation, released a statement about the show, sharing: “It has been a joy to work with [writer and executive producer] Chris Chibnall in creating this bold, authored, and ambitious vision for the series.

“Together with [executive producer] Chris Sussman and Agatha Christie Limited and, under the masterful direction of Chris Sweeney, we are thrilled to embark on this creative journey. I could not think of a more exciting first project for Orchid Pictures, or a more perfect home for this story than Netflix,” (via Tudum).

Broadchurch’s Chibnall, is joined by Agatha Christie’s great-grandson James Prichard who executive produced through Agatha Christie Limited, as well as executive producer Mackie (The Crown).

Prichard shared with Tudum what the Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials means to him stating: “Bundle Brent is one of my great-grandmother’s raft of interesting, humorous, sharp, young female characters.

“To see her brought to life through the words of Chris Chibnall and this production with Orchid Pictures and Netflix is a dream come true. I think viewers will love this world that we have created, and hope for more.”

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials will premiere on Netflix on Thursday 15 January 2026.
