Antonio Rogerio Nogueira picked up another victory in the boxing ring at the age of 49.
Nogueira first emerged onto the boxing scene in 2022 to fight Leonardo Guimaraes, after bowing out as a UFC contender.

Nogueira stepped into the squared circle for the third time, and it ended in routine yet bizarre victory
After claiming a unanimous decision victory over Guimaraes, he had an initial taste of success in his latest venture.
He returned to the ring three years later, this time defeating bodybuilding influencer Fabio Tadalafellas.
They laced up their gloves to go head-to-head at Fight Music Show 6, with ‘Lil Nog’ out to cement his capability in the ring.
He did exactly that as their fight ended with Tadalafellas out cold, following Nogueira’s left hand landing on his temple.
As the former PRIDE and UFC fighter continues his ventures inside the boxing ring, he faced fitness influencer Rafael ‘Physique’ Rey at the weekend.
The Brazilian dropped Rey four times during their fight, with two of Nogueira’s knockdowns coming in the sixth round, before the referee bizarrely waved off their fight.
Rey was hit with Nogueira’s left hand twice during the round, first being floored by a jab.
He was then dazed and was sent staggering backwards before dropping to a knee for a second time, after a tame left hook hit the target.
The referee checked if Rey was able to continue, but despite the lack of power in the shot, he wasn’t satisfied Rey had recovered.
After reviewing the situation, the official decided to step in and wave off the contest despite some protests from the influencer.
It was a truly bizarre victory, but nonetheless the Brazilian has continued his unbeaten streak in such a dominant fashion against limited opposition.
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira’s UFC career
While he was fighting in Dana White‘s promotion, ‘Lil Nog’ faced some of the top fighters that the UFC had to offer.
He had run-ins with the likes of Tito Ortiz, Ryan Bader and Rashad Evans, before he bid the sport goodbye.
With an equally impressive stint in PRIDE, where he reigned as heavyweight champion, it is no wonder he holds legendary status in combat sports.
Nogueira’s career ultimately ended in two consecutive defeats against Ryan Spann and Mauricio Rua, spelling an end to his time in the cage in 2020.
