Spineshank have hit a setback on their first UK tour since 2023, as frontman Jonny Santos was unable to travel due to a passport issue. The industrial nü-metal outfit have tapped James Mills of Hostage to fill in on vocals for the time being.

The band expect the situation to be resolved by the weekend.

The band shared the following statement via social media:

HI EVERYONE. WE’VE ARRIVED IN THE UK…WELL MOSTLY. UNFORTUNATELY JONNY ENCOUNTERED AN ISSUE WITH HIS PASSPORT AND WAS NOT ABLE TO FLY. THIS IS BEING CORRECTED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE AND WE EXPECT HIM TO JOIN US BY THE WEEKEND.

AS THE REST OF THE BAND ARE HERE AND WE DON’T WANT TO LET ANYONE DOWN, OUR FRIEND JAMES MILLS FROM HOSTILE WILL FILL IN ON VOCALS FOR THE MANCHESTER SHOW (AND NORTHAMPTON IF NEEDED). WE ARE SO SORRY FOR THIS UNEXPECTED ISSUE BUT ARE EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY ALL OF THE SONGS YOU WANT TO HEAR. MORE INFO ON JONNY’S ARRIVAL ASAP

Currently the band, minus Santos, is touring the UK & Ireland alongside Drowning Pool and (hed)p.e.. Directly following that run, Spineshank will head to Europe for a string of shows with (hed)p.e. and South Of Salem.
