EP #2 follows Kings of Leon’s recent collaborations with Zach Bryan, “We’re Onto Something” and “Bowery.” This past summer, KOL and Bryan teamed up for a series of stadium shows, where they debuted live performances of both songs.

The new EP follows the band’s most recent album, Can We Please Have Fun, which dropped in 2024. According to singer and guitarist Caleb Followill during an interview with the Kyle Meredith With… podcast, the full-length was inspired by Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way, as well of the music of post-punk acts like IDLES and Fontaines D.C.
