Yukon Wildlife Cams this week shared footage of three large bears, including a “tank of a grizzly,” walking past a remote camera on the same trail at different times. Of the grizzly bear, David Troup remarked, “Look at those claws!”

It was the same exclamation that Troup, who maintains the cameras, used in 2021 to describe perhaps his most compelling grizzly bear footage. The clip (posted below) begins with an enormous grizzly bear rubbing against a tree.

Then comes the eye-catching portion: the bear charging ferociously toward the camera in slow motion, its head lurching (and claws on full display) as it approaches within feet of the camera.

It provides viewers with a sense of what an attacking grizzly bear might look like, and inspired the top comment: “Can you imagine standing where the trail camera is?”
