Apple released its latest iPhones, the iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air, in September. True to form, the company immediately removed the Pro models from the previous generation, in this case iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, from sale. But they’re still available in refurbished state, from some retailers — and prices on select models have just dropped.

Apple will sell these phones in refurbished condition, but likely not for at least another six months. Until then, retailers like Amazon have them as refurbished models already.

In advance of Black Friday, there have been price cuts to the Renewed Premium condition, which is the highest-quality refurbished tier. Amazon says this means there are no scratches on the display and cosmetic damage should not be visible from a foot away. The battery is at least 90% or original battery life.

Available again is the 128GB storage level model of the iPhone 16 Pro, which sold new for $999. It’s available in Renewed Premium condition for $759, a $240 savings compared to the new price), in black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium and desert titanium.

Perhaps you’d prefer a bit more storage, say, 256GB? Amazon has this in three of the four colors. These originally sold for $1,099 in new condition, but are now available, here, for $814.97 in desert titanium and white titanium, or $809.97 in black titanium. These prices are dropping — just a week ago, they cost $10 to $15 more, depending on color, and represent a savings of $284 or more compared to the new price.

There’s also the 512GB storage models, available here. Originally costing $1,299, the black titanium is now $909.97 and natural titanium for $879. Note that these prices are between $10 and $40 higher than they were a week ago, though still more than $50 lower than they were in August and at least $389 less than the new price.

Finally, the top storage level, 1TB, which sold new for $1,499, is now $1,099.97, a full $399 off the new price, here. You can choose between black titanium and natural titanium. But while this price is the same as last week this model has been available for less.
