RF Miller and Co, based in Ulverston, has partnered with Barrow Golf Club as its main sponsor for at least the next 12 months.
The move was said to bring together two ‘respected local institutions’ with the accounting service wanting to unite people ‘through sport, social events and community spirit’.
Proprietor Anita Brook said: “Golf has always been one of my great passions and I’m truly delighted that RF Miller and Co can play a part in supporting Barrow Golf Club as their main partner.
“From the moment I first stepped through the doors, I was struck by the club’s warmth, beauty, and the sense of community it fosters – it immediately felt like the perfect fit for us.
“At RF Miller and Co, we’re proud to invest in local institutions that bring people together, and this partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting and celebrating the Barrow community.”
Established over a century ago, the company offers advice on accountancy, audits, tax, and business matters.
It was described as being ‘passionate’ about helping neighbouring businesses ‘grow and succeed’.

The club was founded in 1921 and is having a successful year to date with over 700 members and more than 1,000 unique weekly visitors to its site.
