Rapper Aitch is joining this year’s cast of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here. The 25-year-old is part of the star-studded line-up who will be entering the infamous camp this weekend. Excitement is building ahead of the start of the new season with a fresh batch of famous faces.

Ant and Dec will return to front the next edition of TV’s toughest entertainment challenge, which gets underway this Sunday (November 16). The first episode will be broadcast on ITV1 at 9pm and will last 95 mins.

Viewers can dive straight into the 2025 series this weekend, as a group of celebrities will make their way into camp. The series will once again feature the infamous Bushtucker Trials, including those notorious eating challenges.

The stars will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s star-studded cast, which saw McFly’s Danny Jones take home the title of King of the Jungle. It was Coleen Rooney who came a close second, and Reverend Richard Coles in third.

This 2025 series features another impressive celebrity cast, including Aitch. But it’s not the rapper’s first time in Australia, as when he landed Down Under, he said: “I love it over here. I don’t mind snakes… snake on toast? It’s all right that, isn’t it? I’m gonna miss my sister – even though she’s a little s***.”

He added: “What do I want to say to my fans? I just want to shout them all out and say, ‘What’s going on everyone?’ I’ll be back home soon. If I’m not, then somebody needs to have a word.”

On doing the show for his sister Gracie who has Down’s syndrome, he said: “On an Aitch level, I feel like I have got this calling to raise awareness for Down syndrome and I feel that’s the perfect place.

“Also, you don’t always want to be stuck in the same world forever. You can branch out and do other things. You don’t have to stick to the code (rap world), because you think that’s cool. I did have to cancel some gigs for it. But you are never going to branch out if you do the same thing all the time.”

Who is Aitch?

Aitch is trading the stage for the Australian jungle this year, but what do we know about his life away from showbiz? Born in Moston, Manchester, Aitch first made a name for himself in 2018 with the song “Straight Rhymez”.

He has since gone on to make a name for himself in the music industry, best known for hits such as Taste, Baby and PSYCHO with Anne-Marie.

In 2020, he collaborated with AJ Tracey and Tay Keith on the track “Rain” which peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2022, he released My G with Ed Sheeran, which is based on Aitch’s sister Grace who has Down’s syndrome. His debut studio album Close to Home (2022) reached number two on the UK Albums Chart.

What is his real name?

His real name is Harrison James Armstrong. He decided on the stage name of “Aitch” from the pronunciation of the letter “h”, which is the first letter of his real name.

The rapper was in a public relationship with social media star Amelia Dimoldenberg. The 31-year-old is best known for her popular YouTube interview show, Chicken Shop Date.

Rumours began circulating in early 2022 as Aitch shared photos of his date nights with a mystery woman. He confirmed his relationship with Amelia in a TikTok video of their third date.

However, their relationship ended after a couple of months and Aitch started dating model Lola Thompson later that year. They were seen enjoying a holiday together in Bali in 2023 but parted ways shortly after.

What is his net worth?

Although his current net worth cannot be confirmed exactly, Aitch was said to be worth around £1.5m in 2022 according to Capital Xtra.

He has collaborated with various artists over the years, including Ed Sheeran, Anne-Marie, Bugzy Malone, AJ Tracey and D-Block Europe, so it comes as no surprise he is a popular name in the industry.
