One of the best horror games available on PS5, Silent Hill 2, looks to be venturing to new platforms later this month. On 21st November 2025, specifically, it looks like the Bloober Team remake will delight Xbox Series X|S owners.
It’s been common knowledge for some time now that Sony had a 12-month console exclusivity window on Silent Hill 2, with the game also launching for PC on day one. With that window now having expired, it looks like Konami has multi-platform plans to put into action.
Spotted by True Achievements, a Microsoft Store page for the survival horror title has gone live with the 21st November 2025 launch date, so Konami should share the news officially in the coming days. There will be the same standard and Deluxe Edition options offered at the PS5, PC launch, along with a new bundle containing the Bloober Team remake and Silent Hill F.
When Silent Hill 2 first released on PS5, we awarded it a 9/10 rating and concluded: “So much of what made the Konami classic a masterpiece in 2001 remains in this PS5 remake 23 years later, with the same unforgettable story, satisfying exploration, and weighty combat. There were concerns in the lead-up to release, but Silent Hill 2 speaks for itself: a spectacular experience that once again represents survival horror at its best.”
It’s now ready to offer that same high-quality experience on Xbox Series X|S in the coming weeks. Are you happy that more people will get to play Silent Hill 2? Let us know in the comments below.
