Good Morning Britain viewers were left feeling frustrated during Wednesday’s show

Good Morning Britain star Susanna Reid said “it’s like pulling teeth” as fans claimed to “switch off”.

During Wednesday’s (November 12) instalment of the popular ITV show, Susanna and her co-presenter Richard Madeley brought audiences the latest developments from Britain and beyond.

Studio colleague Charlotte Hawkins delivered additional news bulletins, whilst Laura Tobin provided regular weather updates during the broadcast.

Further into the programme, Susanna and Richard examined various current affairs topics alongside frequent contributors Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce.

Discussion centred on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who pledges to resist any leadership challenge amid Westminster rumours that Wes Streeting might be orchestrating a takeover, reports Wales Online.

Donald Trump featured prominently in conversation following the contentious Panorama documentary, alongside governmental reconsideration of Waspi women’s compensation.

Whilst debating asylum seeker accommodation, Kevin remarked: “These hotels are unsuitable. The last Conservatives allowed the numbers to go up and up and up, and began putting people in hotels.”

He continued: “The current government has a plan by the end of the Parliament to get everybody outside,” prompting Andrew’s sharp response: “That’s going well, isn’t it?”

Nevertheless, audiences grew increasingly irritated as the panel constantly interrupted one another throughout the discussion, leading Susanna to confess: “It’s like pulling teeth today.”

“Can we just have a time when they don’t all speak at once ffs,” one viewer vented on X (formerly Twitter), with another chiming in: “Sick of hearing this segment. It drones on.” (sic)

Echoing the sentiment, a fifth viewer lamented: “This is painful!! Please stop talking over each other!”

In other news from today’s programme, Susanna and Richard highlighted the current crisis in dentistry following warnings that NHS funding can only cover half of England’s population.

Meanwhile, entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold provided updates on the new series of I’m a Celebrity, including a significant rule change.
