The event took place at Trinity Manor Care Home in Sherborne on Wednesday, November 5 and featured sparklers and hot chocolate, bringing together residents and staff for an evening of warmth and tradition.

Paul Pippard, deputy manager at Trinity Manor Care Home, said: “We had a fantastic time with our sparklers, our residents love to keep these traditions and reminisce about years gone by, for some this is the highlight of the year.”

Bonfire Night marks the anniversary of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605, when 14 conspirators attempted to blow up the House of Lords.
