Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have made a rare joint appearance in public this week.
Rob Mac was inspired by Sunderland to buy a football club after Humphrey Ker showed him their ‘Sunderland Till I Die’ documentary.
The Always Sunny star then brought Ryan Reynolds on board as the pair set about trying to find a team.
Reynolds and Mac explored many football clubs as potential options before eventually buying Wrexham in February 2021.
Their backing has delivered huge success to the club, and Mac has now sent a touching message to his former co-owner.

Reynolds and Mac both travelled to Wales at the end of the 2024/25 season to watch on as Wrexham fought for promotion.
For the most part, however, the duo did not make many public appearances together in 2024/25.
Ryan travelled to Wrexham in December to watch the Cambridge United game with Channing Tatum, while Rob was in the UK when the Dragons took on Birmingham City.
Now, the co-owners have come together to celebrate Mac’s success away from football.
Reynolds presented Rob with the Just For Laughs Generation award on Friday for his work on his hit show, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
After receiving his award from his fellow Wrexham co-owner, Rob took to his Instagram story to post a photo of the pair together with the caption ‘thanks for being in my corner @vancityreynolds’.

When Mac and Reynolds first took ownership of the club, the duo said they wanted to take Wrexham to the Premier League.
Reynolds was laughed at by the media at the time for his claim, but they are now just one promotion away from achieving that dream.
Wrexham have already completed six deals this summer, including smashing their transfer record twice.
Another big name should arrive before September 1 as well, with £10m to be spent on a striker signing.
