Football Manager 26 has been out for a few weeks now, and plenty have had their chance to get their hands on the game.
While Brendan Rodgers was unable to bring success this season, those wanting to take charge of the Hoops can take over and put things right.
Whether that be signing the players that you think would take the Celtic squad to the next level, or even qualifying for the Champions League after the disappointing loss against Kairat Almaty.
We know that there are some talented players in the ranks who could even fetch some cash if you’re looking to make that marquee signing .
So, with that, here are the five most valuable players according to the game itself thanks to the help of Sortitoutsi.
Celtic’s most valuable players in FM26 5) Alistair Johnston – £14m
Starting off at number five is our trusted right-back Alistair Johnston.
The Canadian full-back has been brilliant since making the move to Parkhead and has become one of the first names on the team sheet.
When fit, there is no question that he starts and he will be vital when it comes to chipping in with assists and maybe the odd goal.
4) Kieran Tierney – £15m
Although he was signed on a free, Kieran Tierney is perhaps surprisingly ranked number four in the list of Celtic’s most valuable players on the game.
Tierney has had his fair share of injury problems over the years but when fit, has proved that he is more than reliable.
He scored his first goal for the club in the 4-0 win against Kilmarnock and will more than likely be your starter at the beginning of your save.
3) Jota – £17m
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a while to use the winger due to his long-term injury, but Jota is someone who has the potential to be a big hit in your save.
Jota will be back fit and firing in 2026 and Scottish Premiership defenders must be warned that with him in your side, it could be a long afternoon.
2) Cameron Carter-Vickers – £18m
Coming in at number two is our man mountain at the back: Cameron Carter-Vickers.
The centre-back is one of the best defenders at the club since Virgil van Dijk and is clearly one of the better members of the squad.
In real life, the centre-back has proven to be a leader and a rock at the back, as well as recently forming an efficient partnership with Liam Scales.
Carter-Vickers was liked by Premier League clubs in the summer, so brace yourself for some incoming bids.
1) Daizen Maeda – £19m
No prizes for guessing who is taking top spot. Daizen Maeda’s electric 2024/25 campaign has seen him earn the right of being Celtic’s most valuable player in FM26.
Maeda is being tipped to leave in January after previously stating he was denied the chance to leave in the summer.

Your task will be to convince him that staying at the club is the right move.
Or, if you think it is time to part ways and invest in the future, he is your best bet for a big payday.
