Bradford Bulls have confirmed a second pre-season friendly date as they prepare for life back in Super League.
The Bulls had their place in the top flight confirmed last month after earning a spot in the top 12 of IMG’s 2025 gradings. As such, they are readying themselves for their first season back in the top flight since they were relegated to the Championship in 2014.
They have made a raft of signings for the new season with Ed Chamberlain, Dan Russell and Connor Wynne being among the latest and fans will be given an early opportunity to see the new signings in action for the first time on January 11.
That’s because Bradford will be making the trip to South Yorkshire to take on Doncaster at the Eco-Power Stadium. That fixture comes around a month or so ahead of the start of the Super League season, but for Doncaster, the clash will come just a few days before the start of the new Championship campaign.
Richard Horne’s side will be putting their final preparations in place by that point of the winter then, while Bradford will be still be building fitness and getting combinations in place.
The clash will kick off at 3pm with tickets available to buy this coming Wednesday.
Of course, Bradford Bulls already have one friendly confirmed for January with Kurt Haggerty taking his side to Headingley to take on Leeds Rhinos on January 24. The game will act as Cameron Smith’s testimonial having represented both clubs over the course of his career, with a loan spell at Odsal coming in 2017.
Elsewhere, four more friendlies have been confirmed across the top flight, with Leeds playing Wakefield Trinity on Boxing Day in the traditional Wetherby Whaler Challenge. Castleford Tigers have games lined up against Featherstone Rovers and Oldham, with the latter being in Benidorm, while Wigan Warriors will take on Hull FC for Liam Marshall’s testimonial on February 1.
