Chris Eubank Jr is set to have a strong support system in his corner for his upcoming fight against Conor Benn, including his secret girlfriend, who is a current star of Strictly Come Dancing. The boxer is preparing for another colossal bout with Benn, following his victory over the same opponent at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium seven months ago.

In a thrilling grudge match under the north London lights in April, Eubank Jr emerged victorious over Benn. Now, they’re gearing up to do it all again in front of another lively crowd, just days after Eubank Jr made a rare personal revelation: he’s about to become a father.

The exciting news was shared with his own father, who will also be present at Saturday’s fight, during a recent BBC documentary called The Eubanks: Like Father, Like Son, which aired earlier this week.

During the programme, Eubank Jr discussed the four-year period of estrangement from his father, their reunion on the eve of his biggest fight, and his impending fatherhood. Near the end of the show, he revealed to his father that he’s expecting twin boys.

On X, Eubank Jr posted a touching clip from the documentary, captioning it: “So yes many of you guessed it. I will soon be joining the dad gang. Only difference is I’ll be joining as a father of two! Twin boys!!

“I’m so grateful for such a blessing and I will do my absolute best to give them the happiest upbringing I possibly can… just like my old man did for me.”

In the clip on BBC iPlayer, Eubank Jr told his father: “I want to start that next chapter in my life. You’ve got two grandsons that are on the way.

“I never thought about being a father for my whole life, I want to be the type of father who can and talk to me about anything. I couldn’t do that with my old man, I couldn’t.”

The 36-year-old boxer is a recognisable figure in the ring, yet details surrounding his romantic relationships have remained largely under wraps.

Eubank Jr has maintained strict privacy regarding his long-term partner, a pattern that has characterised his approach to personal matters despite living under the spotlight due to his famous father.

While he has previously acknowledged having partners, he has refrained from identifying them publicly, stating ahead of his 2019 bout with James DeGale: “I’ve had girlfriends throughout the years, staying on and off, but nothing permanent.”

Although no official romance was ever verified, Eubank Jr was photographed in a close moment with present Strictly Come Dancing contestant Vicky Pattison after defeating Gary O’Sullivan in 2015. Pattison, who rose to prominence through reality series Geordie Shore, had claimed victory in ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! during that same year.

During her jungle stint, she encountered Eubank Sr, who was likewise taking part in the programme, and following the bout, Pattison disclosed that she was “in love” with Eubank Jr. “I had such a good time at Chris Eubank Jr’s fight,” she said at the time.

She confessed she held back from pursuing the boxer, explaining: “He’s my jungle pal Chris Eubank’s son and I’m in love with him. He’s gorgeous. But it’d probably terrify Chris Sr if I ever tried to get with him. I think I’m the only person in the world he’d be scared of.”
