Real Madrid may feel a little envious of Chelsea’s acquisition of Estevao Willian right now.

Both clubs were interested in signing Estevao, but it was Chelsea who ended up with the winger, and he is now shining for both the Blues and Brazil.

It was Estevao who opened the scoring for the Selecao in their 2-0 victory over Senegal on Saturday.

Which Chelsea player are you looking forward to watching the most in the International Break?

Carlo Ancelotti spoke about Estevao after the friendly, going as far as to say that Brazil’s future is “guaranteed” thanks to the 18-year-old.

Estevao’s impact for Brazil and Chelsea seems to have got the Real Madrid hierarchy talking.

According to Defensa Central, the decision not to pursue Estevao more aggressively after signing his Brazil teammate Endrick has caused an “internal debate” at the Santiago Bernabeu.

In regard to Endrick, his move to Real Madrid has been nowhere near as successful as Estevao’s switch to Chelsea, and he is now likely to leave Spain temporarily in January.

The Chelsea Chronicle has been told that Chelsea have been keeping tabs on Endrick ahead of the winter transfer window.

Whatever happens, the Blues will just be happy that they were the ones who ended up with Estevao, who is undoubtedly one of the best young players in the world at the moment.

Estevao outshone Vinicius in Brazil’s friendly against Senegal, and he has also been better than his compatriot in the Champions League this season.

He has scored more goals and is averaging more dribbles per game than the Real Madrid attacker.

It shows that despite his age and lack of experience in European football, Estevao is already performing at an extremely high level.

It is scary to imagine what he could become. But if you are a Chelsea fan, you are probably concerned about the possibility of Real Madrid trying to rectify their mistake of not signing Brazil’s latest superstar in the near future.
