Dillon Ray is worried about Ste Hay in upcoming scenes (Picture: Lime Pictures)
Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) is left incredibly concerned for Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) in Hollyoaks next week when he finds him in a dark place.
Ste, as viewers know, has covered up for son Lucas (Oscar Curtis), who has been abusing him for months, telling the police that he is the violent one.
As a result of his admission, social services were involved and thus Ste was told that grandson baby James can no longer stay at his flat at the Rowing Club Apartments.
The revelation came as a shock to not only Ste but also Dillon, who has been harbouring feelings for his son’s granddad for months, with the two having slept together earlier this week.
With baby James no longer allowed under his roof, Dillon takes his son to stay at the Maaliks, with upcoming scenes seeing the little one getting settled in his new home.

Ste, meanwhile, is overwhelmed and breaks down to Misbah Maalik (Harvey Virdi) about how he’s failing baby James and missing him now that he’s been taken away.
Can Misbah offer some words of support? New pictures see the show’s signature doctor offering Ste a hug.
We’ll just have to wait and see what transpires after that but in subsequent scenes, Dillon finds Ste in a very dark place. Will he be able to help?

Dillon, as viewers know, confessed his feelings for Ste during the summer and, after the two shared a kiss in Liverpool last month, they slept together this week.
Lucas, who remains head over heels in love with his ex, has no idea that Dillon – who previously cheated on him with his sister Leah – has started to fall for his dad.
The storyline, which received quite a reaction from fans, also came as a shock to both Lucas and Dillon stars Nate and Oscar.

Nate reckons that Dillon is gravitating towards Ste instead of Lucas due to his help in the wake of his exploitation ordeal.
He said: ‘I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily that there are no feelings for Lucas – that it’s completely over and completely cut off – because that would be ridiculous after everything they’ve been through.
‘But as for now, he feels more for Ste due to the fact he was his sponsor – someone he could relate to and someone he could have real chats with about his problems. I think he felt that Lucas never understood him in terms of what he went through with the trafficking and the drugs.’
Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on Channel 4’s streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4.
