Celtic’s AGM is already making headlines before it’s underway.

The Celtic Fans Collective has released a host of statements about Parkhead board members before the meeting, aiming to put them under pressure before re-election.

The statements made it absolutely clear to Michael Nicholson, Peter Lawwell and other board figures: your time at Celtic has expired.

Since being established, the Collective has mobilised Hoops supporters to an extent not seen in the last two decades, leading the widespread protests we have seen in recent months.

And prior to the AGM, anti-board banners by the collective have been spotted at Celtic Park.

Protests have included fans remaining in the concourse at the start of the game at Rugby Park, and remaining silent at the start of a home game against Hibs.

Fans will also remember seeing a sea of anti-board banners in the away tie against Partick Thistle.

The Collective have been at work prior to the meeting, producing banners outside the stadium.

They read “Wanted: For Gross Mismanagement” and feature the faces of a variety of members of Celtic’s hierarchy.

These include principal shareholder Dermot Desmond, chief executive Michael Nicholson and non-executive chairman Peter Lawwell.

Senior independent director Tom Allison, chief financial officer Chris McKay and fellow senior director Brian Wilson are also on the banner.

Desmond doesn’t attend the AGM, but all other faces on the banner will be present.

The Parkhead manager also usually attends, but Martin O’Neill isn’t expected to attend given his interim position.

67 Hail Hail will provide all the headlines from throughout the day at the AGM.
