How could any boxer be considered getting old overnight once they reach the age of 30? That’s the time when a fighter’s skills are gradually diminishing and bodies are gradually deteriorating. It’s very subtle but that’s when the aging process is slowly progressing by then.

His cardio has always been a problem. He look absolute gassed out against Benavidez too. My man wasn’t doing those 3 mile runs in the morning that every boxer should be.

More recently, Caleb Plant. He did all he could with Benavidez before taking a beating. He started to look shaky with McCumby but fought a disciplined inside game to secure the win, but when he got to Resendiz, an average dude at best, he looked frail and ineffective at everything. Plant was never an amazing fighter but for six
