“It feels amazing, it’s like I’ve come home after a period of time away. There are obviously a few things that have changed over time, but a lot of the Club is as I remember it.
”I have been involved in coaching with the Worcestershire pathway and academy as well as doing some second team coaching with Richard Jones, so I am really keen to get back in the fold with the rest of the coaching group.
“My love of Worcestershire is strong and I have a desire to work with a very good coaching staff and immensely talented group of players.”
Worcestershire Men’s Head Coach, Alan Richardson, added:
“We are delighted to welcome Alexei back to the club, his appointment brings some valuable experience to our coaching staff.
“He has a great connection with the club and knows the place well, so we are all looking forward to having him on board and getting started.”
