Isle of Wight man missing for 22 days prompts police appeal

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is asking for the public’s help to find Lachen Downs, who was last seen on November 1 in the Newport area.

He was reported missing on November 17 and since this time police have been carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate him.

Officers are now turning to the community for help.

 He is described as: white, 5ft 7ins, of stocky build and with short very light brown hair. He has a tattoo of playing cards on his neck.

 Lachen is known to stay in the Newport and Sandown areas and also has links to Portsmouth and Southampton.
