Silent Witness spoilers follow.
Emilia Fox has revealed the surprising show that she would “love” to appear on.
The actor currently stars as Dr Nikki Alexander in the BBC drama Silent Witness. She has played the character since 2004, after taking over from former lead Amanda Burton (who played Sam Ryan).
Despite her long-running role as the forensic pathologist, Fox has shared that she’s open to other TV stints, including the popular competition series Strictly Come Dancing.
“I really love watching reality TV,” the star told the Daily Mail. “I’d love to do Strictly.”

Fox went on to share her qualms about the “nerve-wracking” live shows, but added that she would still relish the opportunity to train and compete.
“I’d love the rehearsal process, but the thought of live shows is nerve-wracking,” she explained. “I’m not sure I’d be very good at that, but I’d definitely consider it.”

As well as watching reality TV, Fox has also appeared on a variety of reality entertainment shows, including Celebrity Gogglebox, Top Gear, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, and Blankety Blank.
The star also fronts the documentary series In the Footsteps of Killers, which sees her investigating cold murder cases alongside criminologist Professor David Wilson.
Meanwhile, Silent Witness was recently renewed for its 29th season, which will pick up from the events of the latest finale. Fox will reprise her role alongside co-star David Caves, as newlyweds Nikki and Jack take on even more dramatic cases.
Silent Witness airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
