From steamy sauna sightings to secret set visits, how the ‘Stranger Things’ star and the woman behind Lily Allen’s revenge song may have quietly reconnected behind the scenesNatalie TippettNatalie Tippett worked as a costumer designer on Stranger Things

It sounds like a plot twist worthy of Stranger Things, but the drama surrounding David Harbour’s love life has officially moved from the Upside Down to the frozen north of Canada.

Just weeks after his estranged wife, Lily Allen, dropped her explosive ‘divorce album’ West End Girl – featuring a track dedicated to a mistress she names only as “Madeline” – the actor has been hit by fresh claims that he may have gone back to the very woman at the centre of the scandal.

While Allen’s lyrics ask ‘Who the f*** is Madeline?’, Natalie Tippett, the costume designer Harbour first met on the set of 2023 film We Have a Ghost, has confessed that it is indeed her. And if reports are to be believed, the pair are very much back on.

“We know that he and Natalie have been together recently,” a source told the Daily Mail, with an insider reportedly claiming that the pair have remained in contact and may even have got closer amid the fallout from the song.

But what else has fuelled the chatter? Here, The Mirror explores the ‘evidence’ that fans say suggest they’re back on…

Tippett set tongues wagging when she shared images of herself seemingly at the Thermea Spa Village in Winnipeg at around the same time that Harbour, 50, was in town filming the sequel to his action hit Violent Night.

Harbour is said to have been staying in the Canadian city up until October 15 – nine days before Lily’s new album dropped. On September 5, Tippett posted a carousel of images captioned simply “lately.” Buried within the collection was a campfire photo that apparently matches the outdoor relaxation areas of the Thermëa Spa Village.

Meanwhile, several guests told the Mail that they’d seen Harbour in the spa’s sauna on numerous occasions. One fan wrote on Facebook: “It’s a good thing for stars like David Harbour that you can’t have your cell phone with you at Thermëa Spa. He was sitting right beside my wife and I in the sauna! He’s in Winnipeg shooting a movie.”

While Harbour was in town for work, Tippett – who is a single mother based in New Orleans – was not officially attached to the production. Her apparent presence in the Canadian city, thousands of miles from her home with her two-year-old daughter in New Orleans, has fuelled intense speculation that she was there solely to visit him.

It comes after Tippett identified herself as the woman behind the pseudonym in an interview, admitting she had heard the song but pleaded for privacy to protect her young daughter. “Of course I’ve heard the song. I have a family and things to protect. It’s a little bit scary for me,” she said at the time.

Lily Allen’s new track, Madeline, lays bare her version of events, accusing her husband of breaking the rules of their open marriage. The lyrics describe discovering incriminating texts: “I know none of this is your fault… but you’re not a stranger, Madeline.”

For now, neither Harbour nor Tippett has officially confirmed their relationship status.
