I’m A Celebrity star Ruby Wax left ITV viewers not best pleased on Tuesday night, as she squirrelled away a bag of sweets for herself.
The liquorice sweets were won as part of a camp challenge, in which Kelly Brook, Eddie Kadi, Tom Read Wilson and Vogue Williams were dropped in an enlarged nursery cot.
A combination of jungle critters and teddy bears fell onto the group, with the latter named after a series of well-known children’s stories.

The contestants were tasked with using words that were not in the title to describe the story for those back in the storm-torn main camp to guess, which they mostly did!
The campmates as a result bagged chocolate eclairs, lemon sherbets, fruit pastels and liquorice assorts as a treat – but Ruby, 72, wanted the latter all for herself and so wandered away from the camp to scoff a bag in a moment reminiscent of the infamous Strawberry-gate.
Speaking to the ITV cameras in the hut confessional, the comedian said: ‘Sorry, it’s each man for himself now.’

She later added: ‘My inner animal took over, I’ve got a mouth to feed, which is mine!’
The following morning, the camp decided to talk about, or around, Ruby’s sweet theft, with Alex Scott most noticeably annoyed over it.Â
‘I think that was just a lesson, it is something to laugh about but it is something like that, a small thing, that can become a big thing,’ the former football pro said.
‘I think the reaction to the sweets situation yesterday, certain people didn’t know what sweets were there, who was getting what and it could just be handled in a different situation.’
Angry Ginge suggested that for future rewards the chefs divide them fairly. Ruby stayed noticeably quiet for the entire discussion.Â

Over on social media, ITV viewers were not best impressed with what was dubbed ‘selfish’ behaviour from Ruby, with some even calling for consequences for the TV presenter.
@kezi2001 wrote: ‘I wonder if there will be any repercussions for Ruby, eating all the liquorice allsorts.’
@biralina55 echoed: ‘Ruby should get penalised for that. Next time they get sweets she gets none. Who’s with me?
Meanwhile Courtenay questioned: ‘Why is nobody saying anything? I can’t stand selfish behaviour.’

@xxncisaddictxx added: ‘That’s actually rather selfish of Ruby. I’m sorry she wasn’t the one who won those sweets.’
The scenes were reminiscent of Strawberry-gate back in 2017, which similarly left fans furious, after Amir Khan and Iain Lee opted to devour a plate of strawberries rather than share with their campmates.
Elsewhere in the episode, Jack Osbourne bagged 12 stars in his first solo Bushtucker Trial after some impressive breath-holding in the face of water dragons and mud crabs.Â
The camp was rewarded with some difficult-to-open crabs and potatoes, which he also had to cook! Busy day for Jack.
I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! returns on Wednesday night at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
