A former Hull KR forward has had a new deal confirmed in the Championship for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
Former France international Kevin Larroyer will continue his playing career with the Toulouse native signing a new deal with Championship club Hunslet.
Larroyer had signed with the Parksiders ahead of the 2025 season and made 20 appearances in his debut campaign at the Leeds-based club, doing enough to impress and earn himself a new one-year deal for 2026.
The 36-year-old had joined Hunslet from Halifax Panthers where he had spent the past six seasons, joining them in 2019 and going on to make a total of 127 appearances across six years.
Prior to his move to the Championship, Larroyer had played in Super League with Catalans Dragons and Castleford Tigers, but most notably with Hull KR where he spent three seasons and made over 60 appearances between 2014 and 2016.

Ex-Hull KR forward signs one-year contract extension with Hunslet
Capped 15 times by France, last in 2016, Larroyer started his career in his native France, debuting for Toulouse in 2010 before then joining Catalans Dragons in 2012.
His 2013 season caught the eye as the second-row forward scored 10 tries in just 20 appearances, earning him a move to Hull KR where he continued to impress.
Larroyer was part of the Hull KR side that made the 2015 Challenge Cup Final, suffering a record-breaking 50-0 defeat to Leeds Rhinos with the Frenchman playing a total of 62 games and scoring 11 tries during his sting at Craven Park.
Brief spells at Castleford and Leigh followed before his move to Halifax where he found his feet and established himself as a top tier Championship player, making over 120 appearances for the club.
Last year’s move to Hunslet extended his career and that’s been extended once again with the Parksiders taking to social media to confirm a new deal for the forward.
A post on X confirmed: “Hunslet RLFC are delighted to announce that back-rower Kevin Larroyer has signed a new 12-month deal.
