Katie Price has said that her son Harvey will be put on a new fat jab after losing one and a half stone. The 46-year-old appeared on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, this week where she spoke about her 23-year-old son’s weight loss goals and answered fans who thought that the mum-of-five had already put her eldest son on the injections.
Katie has been open over the years about Harvey’s medical conditions which include Prader-Willi Syndrome which causes an excessive appetite and weight gain, and autism. Speaking on her podcast, Katie said: “He’s not started fat jabs. There are talks of fat jabs, of Mounjaro, for him.

“But when he was there, they’ve actually got a new weight loss drug coming out, and it’s new. They’ve clinically tested it on people and they’ve got a few people they’re putting it on first.”
Katie then added: “If it works, then Harvey can go on it in the New Year. But they want him to start the Mounjaro. Because if he goes on Mounjaro first and then goes onto this new one, it will work a lot quicker. The reason he hasn’t started Mounjaro yet is because they were trying to get him to lose weight through his diet, to try all avenues.”
Even thought Harvey is yet to start the jabs, he has still managed to lose a large amount of weight. Back in October, the former glamour model said that her son had lost 1.5st in weight. She said: “He’s lost a stone and a half. I can notice it on his chest, but not the belly yet.”
This comes soon after Katie revealed that she had decided to give her son Harvey CBD gummies after he accidentally took two and became “nice and chilled”. The star explained she was pleasantly surprised about the effect the gummies had on her son.
Katie insisted she hadn’t tried anything with Harvey that hadn’t been medically prescribed, but he’d been “nice and chilled” after taking the CBD and that it had “taken the edge off” his anxiety.
Katie spoke about the gummies in a video she posted on Instagram where she talks to friend Serena Stregapede. The clip promotes Olympic boxer Anthony Fowler’s company, Supreme CBD, which manufactures various products including the gummies.
Katie tells Serena, who is Anthony’s girlfriend: “Because Harvey, he’s got ADHD, behaviour problems all of that. He took a couple. And I’m like Harv! But then I thought, you know what? Just see what it does to him, because he’s got all his medical problems. And he was just nice and chilled.
“When I say chilled, normally he gets a bit of anxiety, especially if I’m taking him out somewhere, then he starts talking, talking more. And I thought why not give him two?”
Only around 2,000 people in the UK have Prader-Willi syndrome which is a genetic disorder which causes a wide range of physical symptoms, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. Little research has been carried out into it, and so management typically involves addressing the symptoms and associated difficulties.
