Made In Chelsea stars Maeva D’Ascanio and James Taylor have welcomed their second child. Maeva announced the arrival of their second child – a baby girl – in an adorable Instagram post on Thursday night.
Sharing the first picture of their newborn daughter, as she cradled her in her hospital bed, Maeva also revealed her beautiful name. “Welcome to the world little Josephine Scarlett Taylor”, the proud mum captioned the image. New dad James also shared a video of him cradling their baby girl in the hospital.
Maeva and James are already parents to son, Beau, and announced back in May that their second child was on the way. At the time, Maeva held up her baby scan pictures as she and Beau wore matching pyjamas. Little Beau showed his excitement as he jumped around before sweetly kissing his mum’s stomach.

James also beamed in the pictures and video, lifting Beau up and pulling Maeva in for a cuddle. In her caption, Maeva revealed that the pair were set to welcome a daughter as she wrote: “We can’t wait to meet you pretty little girl @jamestaylorldn.”
The pair welcomed Beau in 2022, before marrying at the Chelsea Registry Office in November in front of a small group of friends and family in November 2023.
They married for a second Christmas wedding a few weeks later at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire. The lavish second wedding at the Georgian venue, with 75 guests, was labelled “perfect” by the happy couple and was filmed for Made in Chelsea.

Speaking about their magical day, Maeva told HELLO! : “Everything was perfect, more than perfect.” James added: “I know we did the legal bit the month before, but this was our moment. It had gravitas, which is exactly what we wanted.”
Maeva looked stunning in a floor-length silk and lace Liz Martinez dress from P.S. Bridal Rental, paired with a veil from Eden b. Studio and Jimmy Choo shoes. The gown featured hand-embroidered florals and a fitted bodice, the bride said: “It was a little bit see-through, but also traditional, so I managed to get everything in one dress.”
