Celtic fan action against the board is sure to resume this weekend, especially after the shambolic 2025 AGM.

Ross Desmond’s Celtic AGM statement effectively ended his chances of winning over the Hoops support, or even convince them that he has the mettle to take over from his dad when the time comes.

The Celtic Fans Collective launched the Not Another Penny campaign to send the board a message they will completely understand. Starve them of revenue.

The first signs that the campaign was working were when Celtic launched a Christmas sale in what we believe was a first-ever step at this time of year.

And now, less than two weeks after the first Celtic sale, the board have announced yet another unprecedented discount as November draws to a close.

It’s very unusual for Celtic to announce two sales in such a short space of time and taking to X, it appears that the club is trying to take advantage of the Black Friday hype.

Taking to X, Celtic posted, “💚 Our Green Friday sale is now on, with big savings in store and online, across this weekend only.”

Celtic could well argue that they are doing what every retailer does at this time of year, but a 20% discount across much of the range is a big sign that the Not Another Penny campaign appears to be gathering momentum.

What next from the Celtic Fans Collective and the board

Well, after the AGM, the Celtic Fans Collective held another meeting to discuss their next steps to force change at the club.

To pile more pressure on the Celtic board, the Collective announced 10 big questions they want the Parkhead executives to answer.

Taking to social media, the Collective said, “Prior to the 2025 Celtic plc AGM, the corporate group within Celtic Fans Collective prepared several questions.

“Following the early termination of the AGM, we have today submitted some questions to Investor Relations, CEO Michael Nicholson and Company Secretary Joanne McNairn.”

As the pressure is applied online, it appears that there is also pressure being applied to the Parkhead board’s bottom line.
