Earlier, captain Ankit Kumar (51 off 26) and Nishant Sindhu (61 off 31) set up the total for Haryana while Sumit Kumar added a quick 28 to take the side to 207. Ashwani Kumar picked up 3 for 31 in his quota of four overs. In reply, Punjab lost Abhishek Sharma early for six while Prabhsimran Singh departed for 20, both to Kamboj (4-0-26-2). But, Anmolpreet Singh’s quickfire 81 off 37 balls put Punjab back in the chase while Sanvir Singh’s 16-ball 30 ensured Punjab tied Haryana in the regular 20 overs.
