Marcus John, 22, and Elsa Rae, 21, were seen walking through the busy city centre on Friday.
A keen fan of the reality show spotted the couple, who appeared on the ITV show this year.
The couple were seen spending the afternoon in Colchester, with Elsa visiting a salon.
The Essex-girl, who lasted through the entire season, and Marcus, who finished eighth, met on the show, and viewers soon spotted their fondness for one another.
During the finale week, both confessed their feelings, with Marcus saying in the diary room “I’m in love with Elsa”.
Elsa, who works as a content creator, has gathered a substantial following on social media.
Marcus, originally from Manchester, worked as a mechanical engineer before joining the show, which wrapped earlier this month.
