The collision at the junction of the Derrylin Road and Tiravally Road in Enniskillen was reported at around 7pm on Friday.
Chief Inspector Simpson of the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit said: “Shortly after 7pm, we received a report of a collision involving a Ford Kuga and a bus on the Derrylin Road.
“Officers attended, alongside emergency service partners, however the two occupants of the Kuga were pronounced deceased at the scene.
“There have been no reports of any serious injuries to the driver or passengers of the bus at this time.
“The Derrylin Road remained closed for some time overnight, but reopened on Saturday morning.
“Our enquiries are continuing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 1276 of 28/11/25.

The coach involved in the crash was travelling from Dublin to Donegal at the time.
A Bus Éireann spokesperson said: “Bus Éireann can confirm that yesterday evening one of our Expressway Route 30 services was involved in a serious road traffic collision involving another vehicle in the Derrylin Road area of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.
“Emergency services and Bus Éireann personnel attended the scene.
“The safety of our passengers, staff and the public is of paramount importance to Bus Éireann.
“We will provide any assistance required to the relevant authorities.”
A Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) spokesperson said: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 7pm on Friday November 28 following reports of a two-vehicle RTC on Derrylin Road, Enniskillen.
“NIAS despatched two Rapid Response Paramedics, two Emergency Crews and an Ambulance Officer to the incident.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, no patients were taken to hospital.”
The deaths bring the number of fatalities on Northern Ireland’s roads this year to 49. Deaths of those travelling in a car – either driver or passenger – make up 26 of that total.

Some 13 pedestrians have also lost their lives as a result of road traffic collisions in 2025.
The total figure for road traffic deaths in 2024 was 59, down slightly from the previous year’s figure of 61.
Sinn Féin MLA Jemma Dolan said the latest deaths had “shocked the local community”.
“This is the latest tragic incident on our roads in recent weeks,” she said.
“I want to send my condolences to the victims’ families and friends at this time.
“My thoughts are also with those involved in the collision and I also pay tribute to the emergency services who attended the scene.
