Early GTA 6 development footage has surfaced online after a former Rockstar Games employee appeared to include test clips in their public demo reel.
The videos shared on X show prototype animations for vehicles and character movement, adding small new details about what players might be able to do in the final game.
The clips feature an in-engine test environment with placeholder models and basic grid textures. While the assets are unfinished, the animations align with Rockstar tools seen in past leaks.

Synth Potato noted that the demo reel also includes development work from Red Dead Redemption 2, Max Payne 3, and GTA 5, suggesting it comes from someone who previously worked at the studio.
Rockstar has not commented on the footage, and the source of the reel has not been officially verified, but the animations have quickly gained traction among fans looking for any new GTA 6 details.
What the new GTA 6 leak shows
The first set of clips highlight new enter and exit animations for bicycles, including a more natural dismount motion and physics interactions when stepping off the bike. One sequence appears to show a yellow rental bike model, adding to speculation that players may be able to rent bicycles at kiosks around Vice City.

Another animation shows a character riding in the back of a pickup truck, suggesting that GTA 6 may support passengers interacting with open cargo beds. This feature briefly appeared in GTA 5 story missions but was never fully integrated into open-world gameplay.
The rest of the video shows off RDR2 animations, a bunch of GTA 5 & Max Payne 3 development footage plus a “personal project” unrelated to Rockstar.
It is without a doubt, real.

In a separate clip, viewers pointed out what looks like an early version of Ocean Drive, matching what Rockstar showed in the official GTA 6 reveal trailer.
The new animations follow a long stretch with little official information beyond Rockstar’s trailers and marketing updates. With GTA 6 scheduled for release in November 2026, even minor development footage has become a major talking point online.
