Coronation Street fans have been stunned by a recent video featuring Maxine Peacock star Tracy Shaw. The actress became renowned for her distinctive curly blonde hair while portraying hairdresser Maxine on the beloved ITV soap from 1995 to 2003.
Viewers may recall that Maxine met her demise at the hands of twisted serial killer Richard Hillman. Richard had been scheming to murder Emily Bishop to steal her life savings, but when Maxine returned home to discover Richard looming over Emily’s lifeless form, he savagely bludgeoned the hairdresser with a crowbar.
Before her tragic end, Maxine and husband Ashley Peacock had battled fertility issues, with Maxine eventually becoming pregnant following a boozy one-night stand with GP Matt Ramsden. Ashley later discovered the truth but ultimately forgave her and brought up Joshua as his own son.

Following her final Corrie scenes, Tracy has appeared in TV dramas including Mile High, Doctors, and Monster, while also taking on numerous stage productions. The actress, who is now 52, recently posted a video on Instagram and has been flooded with praise.
One fan gushed: “Omg you haven’t aged since Corrie have you. Beautiful”, whilst former Corrie favourite Shobna Gulati said: “Gorgeous x”.
Sally Ann Matthews, who portrays Jenny Connor in the ITV drama, added: “Gorgeous Trace x”. Another follower simply wrote: “Stunning. X”.
