Inside BO & Bean in Stoke

A town centre cafe is shutting for good today. BO and BEAN has been open in Church Street, Stoke, for the past five years.

But the Stoke branch is now shutting – with its Chester cafe being retained. The decision has been made for personal reasons.

In a social media post to customers, the venue stated: “This is a very difficult announcement for us to make – but what a beautiful five years we’ve had in Stoke. As many of you know we started our little bubble tea cafe in Stoke as a family-run business five years ago and the community and support that BO AND BEAN has been able to be part of over the years is wonderful, insane and truly beautiful. We genuinely are ever so grateful for everything and all the love from everyone who has ever visited us in Stoke.

“All the lovely reviews and comments from everyone at the cafe since the beginning really have meant the world to us as a small business. What we managed to achieve in five years is something that I think we still struggle to believe. But unfortunately all good things must come to an end.

“Our love for bubble tea will continue to live on through our Chester location where we will continue to be optimistic, create and produce better than ever quality bubble tea, coffee, food, waffles and cosy vibes. We will miss Stoke and miss seeing our regular faces so, so much, but we are not far away and we will always treasure these memories.

“We will officially close the shop at the end of Sunday 7 December and who knows, if we find a buyer then maybe BO AND BEAN Stoke will open again in the future under different hands. But from all of the team at BO AND BEAN Stoke goodbye and thank you for all your love and support.”
