As I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! 2025 concludes tonight, finalists, Angryginge, Shona McGarty and Tom Read Wilson will be hoping for a huge career boost.

The ITV staple has made stars out of many of its former campmates, with a whole host of famous faces nabbing lucrative contracts in the showbiz world when they leave the jungle.

However, there are some former campmates who are no longer in the world of showbiz, despite the primetime programme’s popularity. So, as we look forward to this evening to find out who will be crowned the King or Queen of the jungle, here’s a look at some of the I’m A Celeb stars you’d probably forgotten were even on the show…

Nell McAndrew

Model, Nell, 50, almost waltzed off with the Queen of the Jungle show back in 2002 when she came fourth on I’m A Celeb.

She shot to fame as a TV hostess on Man o Man before working as a successful model and a Marilyn Monroe lookalike.

However, she appears to have quit the limelight and is now focused on her fitness, sharing snaps of herself in the gym and running the London Marathon without a creepy crawly in sight.

Fran Cosgrave

Fran, 47, who was married to Atomic Kitten star, Natasha Hamilton, came third on I’m A Celeb in 2004 before making his debut on Love Island

However, after dipping a toe into reality TV, he decided it wasn’t for him and became a music producer.

Appearing on RTE 2FM in 2023, he shared: “You can’t take it [fame] too seriously because it’s gone as quick as it comes.

“As it came towards 2009, things just started to spin out of control a bit, as it does. I was kind of finished with the whole celebrity thing.”

Carol Thatcher

Daughter of late Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, Carol, went Down Under in 2005 and ended up being crowned the Queen of the Jungle.

She was soon after offered a gig on The One Show however this ended in disaster after she used to a racial slur to describe French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Defending herself, she told The Guardian: “I stand by what I said. I wasn’t going to apologise. I never meant it in a racist way. It was shorthand. I described someone’s appearance colloquially – someone I happen to greatly admire.”

Since then Carol’s TV work is virtually non-existent, but she can be hired for after dinner speaking, according to reports.

Marc Bannerman

EastEnders star, Marc Bannerman, 52, went Down Under in 2007 and struck up a very close friendship with Catatonia star, Cerys Matthews, despite being in a relationship with actress, Sarah Matravers.

He ended up dating Cerys before calling it quits and then spoke about his depression after getting axed from EastEnders.

Speaking to the Mirror, he said: ‘I suffered depression and turned to the bottle to get me out of it. The whole thing was such a shock. It upset me so much that it’s only now I feel able to talk about what it did to me.

“I remember feeling very bitter, especially at the way they got rid of us. There was no warning – we were just out.”

Thankfully, Marc, who has had small acting roles including in Netflix’s The Witcher, is now focused on being a dad to his two kids, as he told Steph’s Packed Lunch in 2022: “I don’t know what I was doing before I was a dad.”

Linda Barker

Changing Room star, Linda Barker, 64, came third on I’m A Celebrity on the show’s second series.

She shot to fame as TV’s resident designer and later took part in ITV’s Splash in 2020, but ended up shunning showbiz for a life away from the cameras.

Focusing her efforts as a designer, she launched her own brand of fabrics and home furnishings titled Linda Barker Home in 2021.

She also has an online interiors company, Really Linda Barker, which is run by her husband, Chris Short, with whom she shares a daughter.

In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Linda insisted she was happy away from the limelight, saying: “I’m not into that celebrity thing and I don’t go to premieres and parties.”

TV star Dani, 55, tried to resurrect her career in the jungle in 2008, but she was voted out before the final.

The presenter, who featured in a host of shows including The Big Breakfast, Channel 4 music show and The Word, has now quit showbiz.

Dani has now swapped TV for real estate and lives in Los Angeles where she flogs eye-wateringly expensive properties.

David Van Day

David Van Day, 69, made it to the semi-finals of I’m A Celeb in 2008. The singer went onto host Celebrity Coach Trip on Channel 4 and the lesser known Brides on a Bus.

However, the Dollar star swapped showbiz for politics in a move no-one saw coming.

In 2018, he represented the Tories and stood for a seat in Thurrock council, where he was beaten by MEP Tim Aker – but when Aker resigned the following year, David won by subsequent by-election.

However, the singer ended up losing his his seat to Labour in the May 2022 elections.
