Fnas of the BBC One dance show flooded Balvinder with support following her emotional appearance in the ballroom

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left saying that one of the judges should ‘be ashamed’ as they flooded Balvinder Sopal with support following her emotional appearance in the ballroom.
Last weekend, the EastEnders star broke a record she probably would have been happy to have completed her time on the hit dance show without, as she became the latest person to survive the most dance-offs (five) after Jamelia last did the same back in 2015.
Having made it through to the quarter-finals, Balvinder and her dance partner Julian Caillon returned to the ballroom on Saturday night (December 6) and brought viewers to tears as they danced the Viennese Waltz to The Greatest Showman’s Never Enough.
After the dance, which ended with Balvinder on the floor on her own as Julian stood to the side in awe, the judges were full of praise for the tearful star. Anton Du Beke, who appeared to have tears in his eyes, told Balvinder that she had “swept across the floor”, branding the star “magnificent”.
But Craig Revel Horwood started his remarks off by criticising some of Balvinder’s technique. However, he did offer some praise too, describing Balvinder as a “fighter”. And it was Motsi Mabuse’s comments then reduced Balvinder to tears as she recognised how ‘demorolasing’ her experience in the competition may have been.

Seeing her upset, she rushed up from her seat and joined her on the dance floor, Motsi told Balvinder: “I’m so proud of you,” as they shared a hug.
But it was Craig’s comments that infuriated Strictly fans as they flooded Balvinder with support. @curlygirlsal said: “This was absolutely stunning and Craig should be ashamed of his comments. Totally unncessary.” @nancysjowita commented: “Ugh Craig do you have to bring the mood down, just want to give poor Bal a hug #strictly.” @Laurahallissey wrote: “Craig was over the top with the criticism with Bal this week. No need for it. #Strictly.”
Meanwhile, some Strictly fans made a major prediciton. @MCJPeel posted: “Balvinder Sopal winning #Strictly this year after being in the dance off five times, just to suck it against the likes of Craig and Shirley who’ve constantly put Bal down and undermarked her, would be absolutely glorious #StrictlyComeDancing.”
@benchidley_ shared: “Bal undermarked againnnn, that was a 10 for me. Kinda want her to win the whole thing #Strictly.” @JessicaJoyful79 penned: “Yeah so Bal’s gonna win this thing, I will hear no arguments at this time #Strictly.” @superTV247 added: “You know what? I don’t care anymore, I want Balvinder to win this whole competition #Strictly.”
