Eagle-eyed royal fans have noticed that Prince Louis appears to have a secret ‘clone’ who looks just like the youngest child of Princess Kate and Prince William

Royal fans are going wild after spotting little Prince Louis’ secret ‘clone’ – and the match is uncanny. bFor the most part, Prince William and Princess Kate work hard to keep their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, away from the bright spotlight that comes hand in hand with being a member of the Royal Family.
The Wales children generally only join their parents at official engagements when it’s a major event, and the rest of the time are kept far away from the public eye, allowing them to enjoy a relatively normal childhood. So much so that the family’s new “forever home”, Forest Lodge, has seen a huge swathe of land cordoned off from public use, to ensure the safety of the future King and Queen and their children – though their new neighbours are not all entirely thrilled about the development.
However, Prince Louis – a firm favourite amongst royal fans for his cheeky personality – did recently accompany his parents and his older siblings to the annual Christmas Carol concert that Princess Kate hosts at Westminster Abbey. And eagle-eyed royal watchers quickly noted it almost seemed as if he had a “clone”.

A royal fan account posted a side-by-side look at Louis and doppleganger on social media. The image showed the seven-year-old Prince next to a photo of his mum, Princess Kate, when she was a schoolgirl, and the pair look incredibly similar.
“Prince Louis is really Catherine’s mini me,” the fan account on Instagram – @katemiddletonprincessofwalesuk – captioned the photo. Viewers quickly agreed that when it came to her youngest child, the future queen’s genes seemed to have done a simple “copy and paste.”
“He looks like Grandpa Middleton!” one commenter wrote, with another saying: “He is a Middleton. Lucky him. They seem to be terrific people.” A third commented, “Oh my how Louis looks so much like his most beautiful Mama, he’s a Middleton that’s for sure, bless him, he’s so handsome”. “Omg,” another added, “they are twins”.

It’s often noted just how much Princess Charlotte looks like a Windsor, with many pointing out throughout her childhood that she really takes after the late Queen Elizabeth in many ways. And when Prince George marked his 12th birthday earlier this year, royal fans quickly spotted just how much he looks like his father, Prince William.

“‘Wow! His features so strongly resemble his dad,” one royal watcher wrote, reacting to a portrait released to mark the young royal’s birthday. “As Prince George grows older, his face becomes more similar to his father’s.” Another commented, “Oh my word, he looks just like his dad.”
Royal watchers have also pointed out the uncanny way in which father and son mirror each other’s body language and mannerisms at football games they attend. It seems that her elder children take after their paternal royal relatives, while her youngest son favours her side of the family tree in looks.
A friend of the princess once said: “Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate. She loves it and thinks it’s very sweet. She often jokes that he’s the only one of her kids who actually looks like her”.
