A second rugby league club have launched a kit made by Derek Beaumont’s Debeau Performance, with yet more rave reviews.
Debeau Performance was launched earlier this year with Leigh Leopards’ owner Derek Beaumont creating his own sportswear company, who will provide Leigh’s shirts and training kits for 2026.
The Super League side had their kit launch recently with the shirt going down well among public opinion and Serious About Rugby League’s 2026 kit rankings and now a second Debeau Performance kit has received similar positive reviews.
Championship side Widnes Vikings have become the second rugby league club to have a kit made by Debeau Performance, with the club’s home and away shirts being viewed favourably by fans after Monday evening’s launch.
The home shirt is all white with black trim, whilst the away shirt is black with red trim. Both feature the club’s new-look badge the Debeau Performance emblem centred on the chest.
Widnes Vikings become latest rugby league club with Debeau Performance kits
Launching the shirt, Debeau Performance posted on X: “Introducing the new Widnes Vikings Kit. Crafted for performance. Engineered for identity. Developed with the club, for the club.
“A fusion of tradition, precision and Debeau design innovation – built for battle in the Black and White.”
Widnes also shared their shirt online leading to positive reviews from fans with one arguing that it looked “great”, whilst another praised the detail.
“That might be the best kit I’ve seen for the coming season. Bang on that,” said another.
“Kit of the year already”, shared another.
Fans will be able to see Widnes’ kit soon in pre-season with the Vikings playing Warrington Wolves on Friday, 7th January. The Vikings will then kick off their Championship campaign nine days later when they take on London Broncos in a tough away start to the season.
